How Austrian universities safely deliver their humanitarian aid shipments to Drohobych
In our latest humanitarian mission, we had the privilege of carrying out something truly special: from three university sites in Graz and three in Vienna, we collected archival and library materials destined for Ukraine. On site, the university staff were highly committed but naturally unfamiliar with the complex technical and legal requirements of international transport. That’s where we came in: we not only managed the transport itself – from collection to delivery – but also handled the entire administrative process, including obtaining all necessary permits, managing the complex export customs clearance, and completing the detailed import clearance in Ukraine.
With liftgates, pallet trucks, and great care, we collected and safely packed university equipment, scanners, archive boxes, and other materials. At our central warehouse in Vienna, everything was consolidated on pallets into a single shipment to ensure smooth delivery to Drohobych. In addition, our team documented the entire operation in photos and videos for the PR departments of the Austrian universities – a true all-inclusive service that was highly appreciated.
