Die Internationale Vereinbarung über Beförderungsverträge auf Straßen (= CMR von franz. Convention relative au contrat de transport international de marchandises par route) regelt die Haftung im Strassengüterverkehr und gilt für Internationale Transporte, die mit Lastkraftwagen durchgeführt werden, wenn das Abgangs- oder Empfangsland des Gutes ein CMR-Mitgliedstaat ist. Eine weitere Voraussetzung für die Durchführung ist, dass die CMR nur ihre Gültigkeit besitzt, wenn Straßenfahrzeuge verladen werden.
